WELCOME

WELCOME!

So . . ., you've finally found the perfect place, lots of storage, nice size rooms, all the extra amenities. But, then you're told "no painting and no making holes in the walls"! You feel all your decorating plans going out the window. What can you do to make the space your own.

Well don't despair. There are many ways to get around the restrictions and limitations and I am here to share the ways I've overcome them over the past 18yrs.

I hope you enjoy my tips and will also share your own. I'll also be sharing some of my on going projects. Once again . . .
WELCOME!!!

Barbe aka Bee

My Garden Buzz

Can anyone identify this plant?  The bloom is beautiful.

Plant above in bloom.
I'm getting anxious for spring to come so I can get back in my garden.  It's a 20x8ft bed in front of my apt and the manager lets me take out or add what ever I would like.  It's been 2yrs of trying to bring it back to life; the roses were being pruned with a weed whacker!!  There were two types of ivy that had over grown everything plus ferns which were in dire need of thinning.

But during the process I have found some real jewels in the undergrowth.  Still trying to identify them, such as the plant to the right.  It grows profusely with a rhizome root system.  It doesn't do well in the heat of summer but flourishes most of the rest of the year.

I love this Canna Lily!

This started as 1 leaf with a stem!

One of my favorite roses; so beautiful when it blooms with the multi-colors like a flame.

Second favorite rose in garden.
